I got one of these in October 2015 from the same Banggood page for £7.81 (took till January to arrive). However, it's a great little pocket charger for the money and for anyone concerned these are the genuine article rather than one of the many fakes.

Beware it takes ages to charge up fully even with a 2A charger. However the plus side is that it lets you charge a device with it while it is being topped up.

Also bought one of these last year at £7 - quality power bank and reassuringly weighty. One niggle I've found with mine, when using dimmable USB lights, the output is very unstable/ripply at lower loads (when lights are set to their dimmest setting) resulting in flicker.

I'm just nitpicking really, it charges everything fine (inc iPads)

Got one at the £7 something a while ago from Banggood. It's brilliant, so well made and sturdy (I've dropped it a few times and not a scratch on it). Very small for a 10000 mAh power bank.

I can see why Xiaomi are sometimes known as the "Chinese Apple" as they're making top-notch stuff. Not at Apple prices thankfully!

I have this, and it charges at just shy of 1Ah and doesn't dip. If you're thinking of buying for PokemonGo, this will positively charge your high-end phone whilst playing with the screen on low, just very slowly. I would recommend plugging this in when your device reaches 50% to avoid risking it. Very nice reassuring build quality. Great battery size that really is 10000mAh.

These are good quality chargers,you can't get anything equilavent for the same price here in UK.
there are tons of fake ones on ebay which should be avoided.
The genuine ones have high quality branded batteries inside (often Panasonic,LG ir Samsung).
always verify the supplied authenticity code on Xiaomi website.
I bought from Banggood recently and received nice genuine battery in around 21 days.

I got this off amazon a while back when it was 12 quid. Was a bargain and works great. Fast charging too. Obviously these things have got more expensive, if it was still 12 quid then I would vote cold on this. But it's not, so have some heat. But if anyone wants 4 thousand more mAh, I highly recommend it.

Had this for about a year now and it's a fantastic little thing, bit heavy for but good quality. Charges my OnePlus One about 3 times and charges 0-100% in about 1hr 30-45min.

​I don't think it's 75% of quoted power expect you lose some power in the transfer cable adds resistance etc does it take 10,000mAh to create a store of the same.

Yes, great item. Though does anyone find it doesn't last long if say you are using the item it is charging, i.e. an iPad? I had it fully charged, then charging my mini iPad while my girls were playing on it and it only charged to 85% and it was empty. Have only used it probably less than 10 times in total since purchasing it but has not done that before usually charges it at least twice fully. Any suggestions will be appreciated, thanks :smiley:

Dated. My nexus 5x needs 3.1amps to charge rapidly

​£25 so almost two and a half times more... but new technology does like the fast charge and USB c.... made my mind up. I will wait for a further price drop on either. That's too high a premium but then knowing that it's a better product rather wait.

Lots of posts commenting on the weight, but the person who said "reassuringly heavy" is right - tech that seems heavy for it's size is usually(but not always) good quality.
I have this too from a couple of months back; what I like is that, if my iphone needs charging, I can keep both this and the phone attached by the cable in my breast pocket, and talk on the phone if necessary without unplugging the charger

I have a couple of these and can only recommend them. Not only is the charger good but the power lead gives an output of 2.1a. Absolutely fantastic bit of kit. Well worth the money.

Bought one of these from BG last year, still going strong. Its a hefty wee block with a quality feel to it. If I remember right there was an authenticity sticker on it from Xiaomi, enter the details on their website to confirm if genuine, mine was. Would I buy again, yes, one of my better China buys.

To the right of the Banggood logo at the top there is an option to change the currency displayed. However the site just uses the live exchange rate to display prices in £'s. You will still be billed in US$ and pay any associated fees with your card provider.

The price you pay with Banggood is always in USD, Paypal works the same as using a credit card/bank account, in that you will pay Banggood in USD and Paypal just convert the price from dollars to £'s for you either at the time of the transaction or via whatever the exchange rate is with your bank. I will add that every time I've checked Paypal they offer a much worse rate than my credit card or bank did at the time.

Im a bit disappointed with this battery pack.. It charges my S7 Edge 1 1/2 time, which according to my calculations is around 5500mAh (3600mAh battery), only half the quoted power.

How long have people waited before receiving theirs? I ordered on September 25th and no sign of it yet but i'm probably just being impatient
