I don't know if this is a completely new thing as I've not been to the cinema for ages - so apologies if it has already been shared. But this seems like a great deal considering how expensive cinema/popcorn usually is!
For example, at my local Odeon a student ticket is £8.75 (13-17 is £8.50). So essentially you're getting the popcorn & drink for only a little bit extra, compared to the usual £6/7 for a combo deal which seems like a good enough deal to me...
But the best thing about this offer is that it can be combined with the Compare the Meerkat 241, so I've been able to book two tickets for me and a friend tonight and it has only cost us £5 each - less than just the popcorn would usually be.

So is this offer only open to 13-17 year olds, or for older students too, with NUS cards?

Odeon's student prices are just dependent on having proof that you are in education- preferably with an NUS card or similar. My husband still gets student prices because he's working on his PhD!

Morrison's currently doing the sweet Sunday share bags at £1.50 each, need 3 bags for a cinema ticket so you can get over a kilo of chocolates and 2 tickets for 9 quid, visit sweetsundays.co.uk for more info.
prices spotted yesterday, Denton branch, I assume it's national but if anyone else as spotted it let us know :sunglasses:

Anyone, and I mean anyone can get a NUS card no need to be a student. Bit cheeky but worth it of course. If this can really be used with the meerkat? Then that is a stupendous deal.

It's a good deal with the Meerkat.
Without it's really just an £8 cinema ticket and overpriced popcorn and coke you could buy for a couple of quid outside the cinema and bring in.

Ditto. The correct terminology to identify a (typing) error, in the above case, would be the use of "sic".
You wrote the sentence below.
"Maybe it's time for you to go back to school?"
The above sentence requires a full-stop and not a question mark as it is written as a statement of opinion and not as a question. A question would be posed as "Is it time to go back to school?"
