Let me tell you a secret these manafactured composts are not as good as the real horse manure you can pick up in streets. Police horses are the best ones. I normal follow the police horse with a dustpan and brush and scoop it up as it hits the ground. It has a nice rice smell to it and within seconds dung beetles are scurrying around it building nests.
Its a nice little money earner, i sell to allotment owners, flowerpot owners with balconies and even premiere league football clubs . The multi compost stuff has no smell of manure in it, no beetles crawling around. Try my manure and you wont go back and the smell is great. I will be doing a limited offer for those still not convinced.

I use horse manure too (I live on an old farm) but I do like John Innes as it is sterile. When sowing seeds or potting on, I prefer to use something that isn't full of seeds & spores.
This is a very good price. Heated.

agree. Horse manure is great if you can compost is somewhere and remove the weeds. but I had very bad experience of it bringing weeds and disease into my garden once. Having said that, if you do want some contact horse farms, they are more than happy to get rid of the pile at their land :-)
