They patched the gamepad stuff in, plus you have the free Mario pack.

You can select stuff, but not full inventory, and off TV play. So not the full potential of the gamepad, but you can't "not recommend" the Wii U version because of it. Online community would be the drawback for me - unless I'm wrong and it's cross platform.

When you can get the exact same experience on other platforms for a cheaper price, seriously I can't recommend this version over them. For many people, the reason why they wanted on the Wii U was to craft items and access their whole inventory with ease on the GamePad screen while playing and not the ability to select items with it. Such a wasted opportunity and a deal breaker for many.

It's cheaper digitally, but £15 retail here is very good - DLC & the Mario Pack is included, so retail copy wise there's not much in it if at all.

I agree. Having bought this on PS4, that was the only thing that would have made me bite again.

Decent price but obviously as it's on other platforms it tends to be cheaper on those.
