Manfrotto is a good brand, but theres a lack of reviews on this particular model from major photography websites and Amazon has some mixed reviews regarding the quality

always a bit wary with these, the absolute bottom end of a brand which will obviously mark price up due to name?
think a random budget brands higher end would be better like hahnel/hama/chinese jobbers like sirui/zomei etc?
or is the 49.99 where it is worth using?

I have this in white, paid either £69 or £79.
Can vouch for it being a nice tripod, nothing coming loose yet after a year. Buy it if you need something lightweight.

I bought this off amazon back in October last year and it is really really amazing quality for the price, well worth every penny and it feels really solid when adjusting the legs, feels like its not going to snap if you move anything, and the arms to move the camera and swivel are really nice feel as well! Almost tempted to get a second but cant really see the point!

Had a Manfrotto tripod, rendered useless when the plastic clips that hold the extended legs started snapping, wouldn't mind I'd hardly used it!

Nice my 290 is too big to haul about very tempted

This is a good tripod, but has been on sale at Jessops for £39.99 (I originally posted this deal), so this is not the best price.
