There is a connection to Fury Road, but you don't have to watch the film to understand the game. The game is actually set before the film.

Well worth the price for the game, but don't bother trying to 100% the game.
I did for the first 2 areas and it just made the rest of the game feel like a grind, really struggled to make myself finish the game.

Great game, dont try to 100% it takes ages and gets boring, story is good enough tho, well worth this, I was so happy when I paid a fiver!
