Good first post OP' I assume it's this one correct me if I'm wrong, price aside connectivity appears to be very limited so let everyone know how you get on
the connectivity of this is rca red white and yellow but for 34 quid I still don't think it's a bad buy. has usb on front. I still haven't connected up yet just opened the box and took out.

Quick tip about these soundbars for anyone as thick as me!!!
I bought one, and the sound was awful, really echoy all the time. Then I read some forum guides etc and finally realised that you have to go into your TV settings and turn the TV's own internal speakers OFF!!
Hope that might help someone.

Saw this in Tesco Llantrisant a few days ago. I have no space for a 5.1 but a good basic 5.1 for anyone looking to nab one.

That might not work on this type of sound bar because the OP says it only has rca red, white, yellow connectors so it more than likely will need to be plugged into the TV's headphone socket and the TV's volume will control the sound bars volume.

AH - hence the price then.
Oh i get it - limited external input as it provides surround for the DVD player but not anything else. Few of these about lately.

if you have rca red white yellow out on your TV then it will work as surround sound. or like one of the above comment plug it into head phone jack

It won't be able to do full Dolby 5.1 surround based on stereo input.
Plus they may be outputs anyway - not input. Yellow is usually for VGA. Why would you input VGA into a DVD player?
