there are a couple of large android updates. you can select the android launcher rather than the lenovo launcher.
signal strength seems lower than SU6 but OK.
battery is good.

I don't really like 5.1 Android. My personal experience is you need 5.1.1 if you want good performance. My devices with 5.1 had memory leak problems. Not sure this phone has any official update but not sure.

I had the chance to review this phone recently and it had serious issues maintaining a signal. I was sent a replacement, but it was no different. I usually get 2-3 bars of 4G signal on EE in my house, but the Lenovo struggled to get a signal at all, or was only able to get one bar when my Moto G4 and Lumia 950 both had 3 bars on EE 4G.
It's worth considering if you are in an area with poor signal.
I also found that the casing could get very hot when gaming, or simply using the camera. The speakers are excellent quality though.

Are you sure it's not EE? I thought my phone had a fault when I couldn't get EE signal at home but even when I tried SIM card with a different phone I still got very poor or no reception at all. If breaking contract wouldn't cost so much I'd have left EE ages ago.
P.S. An O2 SIM card in that other phone (DUAL SIM) has no problems by the way. So it must be EE.

Different brands of smartphone show very different conservative/optimistic bars while in fact holding onto the signal identically.
Would've been more helpful if you'd reported your experience with actual call stability and Ookla Speedtest results comparing on one network like for like.

The three sims I used were all on EE. I switched the SIMs between the phones to rule out a problem with a specific SIM. The K5 had issues maintaining a signal on all 3 EE SIMs, the other two phones had no such issues.
