or you could buy an SSD for that price and replace the DVD recorder, voted hot because I think that it's a pretty decent spec for the money considering it has a dedicated gpu. :smiley:

Is the 940mx much better than the HD520 on the CPU? I heard with the onboard graphics getting so good these days that the low end nvidia offerings rarely make sense any more.
While iGPUs are improving, they are still not as good as some of the dGPUs. The HD520 is probably on par with the GT 920M
If you're not a gamer then you won't realise the difference between the two laptops, and for most light-moderate uses you won't notice the difference between i5 and an i7.
