This set was released less than 3 weeks ago and if you are thinking about investing it is definitely too early to buy it. Taking into consideration similar Lego Technic sets from the past and how long they were available on the market before they retired... you are looking at 2 year lifespan. The price will definitely drop down even further over time so there is no point of buying it now and store it for over 2 years ... unless you want to build it.

ah, the beauty of lego. young budding engineers that have made Britain great started with mechano sets now use LEGO. My young nephew would go nuts (and bolts) for this.

I would have loved this as a child. I guess I had a more interesting imagination and didn't want the same generic stuff.

i honestly cant see what a kid can even do with this
