You get 2 torches in the set for £33.96. If you buy individually from Amazon the cost for just the P7.2 is £38.99 and the P3 is around £13. So you are getting both for cheaper than it is to buy one.

These torches are both great build quality and are really powerful.

It is a good deal and heat added, but these prices fluctuate a lot, I paid £23.99 from Amazon last month for the p7.2. Having said that if this deal would have been around then, I would have got this set. Cracking torches, and good spot op

The 7.2 is amazingly good, I use one at work and takes normal AAA batteries unlike my old sure fire which ate CR123's at great expense.

Most of the better torches of this type have switched over to the likes of 16340 which is dimensionally the same as CR123 or RCR123s just a higher voltage and rechargeable(if it's an LED most of these torches have power regulator chips in them and most work fine with 3.7V batteries). I would never use disposables in these torches even if they do last longer just because if you actually use a torch and it's not something that sits in a drawer it's not economical. Plus rechargeable lithium ion of the same dimensions are pretty much performance wise as good or better than a lot of the disposable AA and AAA out there.
If you use it everyday I would go for a USB rechargeable, I've got an Olight and it was well worth the investment and it uses the 18650 which with 2600mAh is loads of juice to run it and at a tenner per battery it's not prohibitive to even carry a spare for those just in case moments(and way easier than juggling AA and AAAs since it's one battery). Plus the olight I have is cracking, the clip is great so it clips on to uniforms and other kit easily and it's got a powerful magnet in the bottom so if I'm working on my car I can stick it straight on to the underside of the hood.
