A bit more work involved, but not impossible to achieve a favourable outcome. A small amount applied to a central area of the floor just inside the back door and some carefully placed garden tools laid facing up just outside. (A rake and a shovel for example.) Again, a quick wipe down with the towels, replace the mat and you're home and dry. However, if you now tell me you don't have a garden, then I have no other ideas - sorry.

Ahh vaseline - one of the few things one purchases in life that you feel the compelling urge to explain to the checkout person that you are using it for a totally innocent purpose, yet as the words pass your lips and your eyes connect, you know they don't believe a word you're saying and by the end neither do you as you skulk out of the shop, even though what you say is true.
