It's cheap as chips - try it. One of those games that will stay with me forever like a good album. (But not as good as "Brothers: a Tale of Two Sons).

I tend to find nearly every Lego game is rubbish, the only one I really enjoyed and found half decent was the Undercover one on Wii U.
You see my ickle friend just because I post a deal it does not necessarily mean I am endorsing that featured product. Say for instance I saw Chairman Corbyn's second hand Y-fronts going for 10 pence a pair on helpastalinistpsychopath.com I might well post the deal for those on here who like that sort of thing, even though it's not for me.
Alas I'm sorry you seem to have made a rather poor. dare I say bigoted, assumption about my likes and dislikes there haven't you?.
Though being a bigot on the other hand, well I am what I am but holding prejudices against those one considers bigots makes you bigoted too does it not? It's that classic old chestnut of "I hate haters" :smirk:

I think some are being too sensitive and precious about this game. So someone thinks it's rubbish. So what? Move on and agree to disagree.

Seems to me like you have a chip on your shoulder for anyone that does not agree with your own 'opinion' and come across like a child by criticising this game as 'wandering around the desert in a floating frock'
Interestingly you have made no comment at all about what games you enjoy, clearly you seem to have a deep seated sarcastically bigoted grudge against independent games, and in fact seem to revel in being patronising. So let me make this assumption, you show tendencies of characteristics I tend to abhor...you see there is actually a difference between being bigoted and actually abhoring narrow minded, patronising opinions, I am glad to make those prejudiced assumptions about yourself.

Good game - just try it. Is it the best game ever - No.
What is the best game ever? - I'm old so I'd vote for Atari Asteroids.

Do you have a framed portrait of Sigmund Freud above your bed?
If you don't I suggest you get one because you obviously seem to believe you're as clue'd up as he was.
Is Journey not a game where you control a floating frock with diddy little legs wandering round a desert then?
I'm so so sorry I don't dig indie games, I have always been in to underground music and follow a football club that's spent most of it's history in the lower tiers of English football. So just chill out geezer, I hate successful commercial artists and powerful globally 'supported' football clubs with the very same venom you clearly reserve for the giant devs/publishers of the gaming industry.

Did anyone say you have to like indie games? To actually get on your soap box and announce to the world that your opinion is correct is ridiculous....hey I don't really like RPG's.....I don't get off on dissing the genre in a childish manner. As for what I like and do not like both in the world of music and gaming you are indeed making wide birth assumptions, my username alone suggests that I am very much not into commercial artists...and as far as the giant devs/publishers of the gaming industry goes considering I am currently enjoying playing UC4 online once again you are very much mistaken.
Do I think all indie games are great? No. Do I think all major publishers games are great? No. Do I lump everything gaming into ridiculous assumptions like yourself? No.
Considering my views are far more liberal than your own, I am afraid we would never be bigots in arms.

Liberal fascists are every bit as bigoted rightist fascists or them eco fascist green voters too I would dare to suggest.
At no point did I get on my soapbox and say my opinion is right to those who don't agree with it, it's right to me and for those that it's wrong well tough txtty because such is life.
I hate RPG's too but I still enjoyed The Stick of Truth big time, probably because I love South Park.....how could I not love that show when Cartman is the only true prophet that exists in the 21st century? Being the son of an Eastern European refugee who fled socialist tyranny in the previous century and thus obviously being untermensch vermin myself dictates I share his contempt for certain peoples he regularly mentions in the show who shall of course remain nameless in here
I also own quite a few indie titles and have enjoyed games like say Hotline Miami in brief spurts but if I wanted to play 16 bit era looking games that much I could just dig out my old Mega Drive from the storage unit so I'm sorry but indie titles are erm well they're just indie on the whole, say no more.
Even though I am there for the triple A experience I don't sit there pleasuring the big software houses no matter what I can assure you, in fact I have boycotted EA for years now! Well apart from subscribing to Access because my boys demand the abortion that is FIFA and their other annually spawned sports franchises, pains me to say it but that service does offer great value for money at under an apple a year :disappointed:

No, you actually categorically said this game is 'rubbish' and that it is always going cheap...which it isn't, I have not known it this cheap and having not played it previously on the PS3 knowing it was a short experience I am glad to be able to pick it up cheap now and make my own mind up whether or not it is 'rubbish'. You also said "most of this indie tosh we're told is so great by the über intellectual gaming academics is......actually tosh". It equally could be deemed that hipsters can talk tosh to defend underground music, so can art 'critics' in bigging up minimalistic 'rubbish', and hey there are even those that feel that artistic merit can be drawn from popularity and sales.
A simple, didn't enjoy this personally and cannot understand the high ratings it got might have come across better than 'rubbish', articulation can go a long way.
Having played games for the past 35 years there is a lot of stale rot out there, recycled genres. Personally I applaud developers for trying different experiences in gaming, cannot say all of them work for me, but I am glad of the variety of experience.
