I've found their service is good. Money lands into your account after 3 working days. Problem is they don't allow part payments (like taking deposits or paying balance), It needs to be full payments. Anyone know of a similar card processor that doesn't charge monthly fees and where you can buy a machine like this and take Part payments ( Won't go near PayPal with a barge poll. Really bad reviews and chargebacks at a whim)

get a sumup box. 1.95% transaction costs. got one for £19 from a deal on here last month. hence I guess izettle have matched the offer.

I use iZettle, have done for a while, bit peeved as their wireless card reader broke just after a year, izettle didn't want to know, so anyone buying , just be cautious their after sales support isn't great.

You get the option to email a receipt or text message a receipt after the transaction if that helps at all

doubt it, alot of the cheap ones on amazon state they dont work with izettle.

It seems that the campaigns had entered in a conflict which I have now solved. You should be able to purchase the reader for £19+VAT!

I can now purchase this as the 19.99 from the account I created on Saturday.

It is poor of iZettle, and it's worrying that 'support is only available weekdays'. What happens if there's a problem with the reader at weekends? Nowadays, not everyone has a five day a week nine to five business.

That's really poor from iZettle. I just received notice that support is only available weekdays so will wait and see if they have an explanation tomorrow, hopefully they will come good as there are still 10 days left on this offer! I'm sorry this has happened, it all looked very genuine to me. Will update when there is some news.

I have been in touch but they do not work weekends so I sent them a message with a screenshot of the 19.99 landing page.

The link embedded in the article mentions the 'exclusive price' several times. The links take you to a 19.99 landing page, where you then go to Sign Up (high fives page), you then fill in all your details. are credit checked, accepted then when you come to buy the reader there is no sign at all of the 19.99 option.

I think pretty much everyone in this thread has said the link doesn't work. Unfortunately you have to go right through the sign up page to find this out. Even if you are on the 19.99 page and proceed from there, it still wants to charge 29.99 or 49.99 - there is no option to buy at 19.99.

Hi bxboards, that is really disappointing. It does seem like the link has worked for some people but not for others and I'm really not sure why. Perhaps iZettle have changed the offer without notice, however it still clearly states it is available until 31st August and there are no stated restrictions, e.g. that you have to be a sole trader as opposed to a limited company or vice versa. Have you been in touch with their support directly? I shall contact them myself and see what their response is. I'm not sure what else to say really but I will monitor this and if iZettle are not honouring the terms of the deal I shall pull it from here.

The link doesn't work, it comes up at 29.99 - I am referring to the link marked 'Exclusive offer for our readers' - I signed up via this, the iZettle landing page mentioned 19.99 too, but once you've signed up and given all your details the purchase options are a 29.99 or 49.99 reader.

I've been through the process and I only get offered the Izettle reader for £29 plus vat.
The Izettle reader plus dock is £49 plus vat.

Hi guys, sorry I have only just come back to this. I've noticed a few comments here regarding the pricing not going through properly when trying to check out at iZettle, I think this is to do with the Get Deal link that was updated on my behalf. The original link went to iZettle's home page with the deal link being placed in the first comment, the reason for this is that to get the deal you have to go through http://www.mobiletransaction.org and click on the link to iZettle from their website. HOTUKD did not recognise mobiletransaction.org as a bonafide merchant so this was the only way I could post this deal. My apologies if this has caused any problems for anyone, I did try to make it as clear as possible in the deal title that it was important to use the link in the comments. In my defence the direct link was updated on my behalf and I'm sure the mod was simply correcting my post to make it work properly with regards to HotUKD's rules.

I don't like the sound of this, especially the last paragraph - Basically you have all their and their partners junk mail or they terminate your service :

I really dislike sites that promise one price, harvest data, then give you a different price at the end of the process.

Surely the biggest advantages of iZettle is that you avoid the soul destroying experience (and cynical money-making) PCI DSS Compliance programme which is obligatory win traditional card merchant schemes plus you don't have to deal with the charlatans they have working in the sales departments of places like PaymenSense & Worldpay?

Trying to get this, but like others above it's saying £29 not £19. I followed the link and made an account but only got offered it at £29 after all that. I've now seen the other link but I obviously can't make another account using the same details. Any way to actually get the £19 mentioned in the promotion?

Been there, done that, you get to a link saying £19 plus vat, but then it gets upped to £29 plus vat after you've registered, just for the reader (no stand)

If I log into my izettle account it's coming up at £60 !

I have had had the free one for about a year for the shop and it's great !

bit of a deal breaker as wanted to get one for my partnership and one for sole trader. only really wanted them as an emergency back-up but not at nearly £70
got one free with my bank account for my ltd co and it was very useful last week when a customer had no cash and doesn't know how to paypal/transfer etc. got £50 for the sake of £1.38. would never have got paid had i not had that

Didn't work said £29 after filling out all their forms for LTD company. cold

Says battery lasts for 8 hours active use or 100 transactions, that's near 5 mins per transaction. Almost quicker to take a cheque, walk to bank and wait for it to clear :stuck_out_tongue:

Registered as a partnership with full details :disappointed: Which makes it the same price more or less as the reader plus dock in the other deal I think, so I'm voting this deal cold
