Another good deal from my favourite car dealer - Rockar Hyundai.
I've previously bought 2 cars from them, and was looking around for a deal for my daughter who is after a new car and came across this.
It's the basic 1.0 model and is pre-registered (registered in July I believe). Available in white only. The finance (PCP) is £99 p/m with a £250 deposit over 4 years with 8000 miles per annum. Excess mileage is 4p/mile.
EDIT to say the finance is a PCP deal with a GFV of £2951. If you pay cash then you own it outright at the beginning, obviously.
With the price at £6950 it's a saving over over £2000 on what was already a cheap car.

pre registered means the car dealer has told hyundai they have sold the car, likely because they get a sales bonus as a dealership for selling so many units.
as the car is pre registered to the dealership, any future owner will be the second owner despite in some cases the cars being little more than a week or 2 'old' (the warranty coverage starts when it's registered).
the beauty of a pre reg is you get a big saving as the dealer needs to shift the car as it's depreciating and they can share some of their bonus with the customer in terms of a sizable reduction compared to buying it brand new.
the downside is you can't choose colour or spec, if you don't like what they have pre registered then tough where if you buy new, you can have any model, trim, engine, gearbox type, colour or extras you want.

Is this to buy outright or would I have to give it back at the end?

If you pay cash then obviously you would own it. If you take the finance then you can either pay the remainder, or give it back or part-ex it towards a new car.

Not sure why your daughter would prefer a new i10 over a nearly new Fiesta but that's another story.
Nice facelift though, and the i40 made a good courtesy car fwiw.... but the audio system sounded AWFUL, much worse than a 15yr Ford Ka rad/cass player. The sound was tinny, harsh and thin as hell, so wonder if i10 is the same?

It might be a stupid question, but what am I missing here? 48 monthly payments = 4752, plus the £250 deposit = £5002??

Great car, avoid the standard 1.0 engine it is dire.
If you look around, you can get the 1.2 in Premium spec for £500 (with 2-5K mileage) , that's the spec to go for.
P.S. Don't be sucked in my the OPs description, the dealers (SG Petch) were falling over themselves to sell us that spec for £6250 back in Feb.... Once driven, everyone offloads the 1.0L petty engine in favour of the 1.2L.... Look on the web, hardly any 1.2 examples about.... yet hundreds of mundane 1.0L ones from disappointed buyers with a few months mileage on em...

I'd suspect that all the low-mileage I10 1.0-litre models are ex-rental.

Please can you let us know where we can buy a 1.2 in Premium spec with 2-5k mileage for £500. That seems to be an excellent price.

honest John says the latest i10 is the best small car around, and as someone with a lot of experience trying various small cars for my job I agree with him.
while the car and the Hyundai after car package (warranty and roadside recovery) is good, the price on this deal is nothing special.
I purchased the identical car last may (registered end of April) for £6999 in solid white.
I only sold it as I no longer needed a car (best trade price I got at 13 months old, 1 hyundai service and 5,254 miles was £5350).
great small car that unlike many others cars in this size has 5 seatbelts (most are only 4 seaters with an optional extra to make them 5), good fuel economy and insurance costs, but this price is nothing special.
further proof the price is nothing special was working up north on business, I drove past Vantage Hyundai dealership who had the same car pre reg 16 plates for £6799.
I'm sure you could get the same price of your willing to travel.

as for the comments about the 1.2 spec engine vs the 1.0 engine, Hyundai don't provide the basic S model with the 1.2 engine thus they have alot more 1.0 models available.
the 1.0 is fine and will do 100 on the motorway if that is your thing, but the 1.2 is alot more at home if power and travelling at high speeds is your thing.
the 1.0 is fine is your not using the motorway everyday, I drove one from London to Glasgow a few months ago and it was fine and fuel efficient.

Been looking at this car and Rockar for a while. It's been 7k for a while and a few weeks back a non pre-registered was £500 more.
The 1.0l is a new engine from the older model unlike the 1.2. The guy who slated the 1.0l is not aligned with general reviews. It's fine on motorways too especially for a city car. I'd invest in metallic paint for £500 more as personally the come-with white or denim blue are a bit insipid for me.
The alloys on the premium look sweet but that car is 2k more which feels a lot for a 7-8k motor.
This may be a daft question but what does pre-registered mean?
Also anyone know if the uk is getting a facelift model (like the new VW Up! which was the alternative I was considering). Asia apparently has such an i10 coming out.
