so says my kids. Thought id pull a fast one and sneakily eat more healthily-or at least the kids. However, they noticed the difference straight away "this sauce is different-i dont like it!".

Sugar is very addictive. When you google "sugar addiction", you get the following definition:
"Scientists have found that sugar is addictive and stimulates the same pleasure centers of the brain as cocaine or heroin. Just like those hard-core drugs, getting off sugar leads to withdrawal and cravings, requiring an actual detox process to wean off."
No wonder they don't like it. Just like when a drug addict was given a shot with 50% less drug in it, he wouldn't like it neither.
