So, Argos seem to be selling Guitar Hero Live for the Wii U for £20
The Wii U link is below. Click add to trolley to purchase, otherwise it will continue to re-route to the Xbox 360 page.
NOTE: Item description seems to reference 'Guitar Hero TV' I assume Argos would have to honour the purchase though as the title clearly states the game is for Wii U

It's now very clear, is this just an online subscription if you already have the game.
Or is it the game, Online, and the actual guitar?

Valid point, I've just read the description now.
It sounds like it could be an error in the description, or it's for the soon-to-be-launched Guitar Hero TV? (which I've never heard of)
Purchasing by the name though I'm sure Argos would have to honour a copy of the Wii U game with guitar?
It is a very misleading item description as you mentioned, though.

Good price, I just can't get my head around the new guitar. I've played too much Rock Band and previous iterations of GH at the new fingering pattern was too much for me.

This is major hot for me, I haven't seen such a discount for the Wii U version before. Usually it's never discounted...grrrr

It has been discounted to this price several times. I think I got one version for £25 from GraingerGames a while back and one from Argos for £20 a month ago. I've also seen it on sale at Smyths.

Guitar Hero TV is one of the game modes in Guitar Hero Live. The idea is that you have a "TV channel" you can tune into showing music videos. When a song you fancy comes on, you can pick up the guitar and play it. Don't know why Argos didn't copy the whole description and just that bullet point but there you go.

Managed to pick up the PS3 version for £14 when amazon did a lightning deal few months ago. Supposedly the ps3 versions usb wireless adapter for the guitar works on the wii u...

Replying to my own post, oh dear. Returned for a refund, third button on top of the neck was sticking which rendered the guitar unusable. The YouTube fixes I saw would not have worked in this case. Happy with Argos' quick refund anyhow.
