"superior lighting" i doubt that.
cheap bike lights are a false economy IMO

They are better than no lights, and if you leave them on your bike you are more likely to find these still on it when you return .

These type are quite good, I've got a pair. Well made and brackets are good. Front light obviously doesn't light your way but bright enough to be seen around town. T
Batteries last for ever in these too.

Managed to reserve only one. These were going out of stock as I was looking around!
Might use them one day, already have an unused pair and don't even ride at night.

I picked one up yesterday, however the item is not as the picture shows. I was handed a Rolson, model number 61624, which is being sold on Amazon for £6.49 and has poor reviews.

Me too, but they seem pretty good.

Look to have some locally, may go and get them and leave them in the car to hand out to all the local prats who think its fine to cycle at night without them - kids and adults.

None in stock near me.
Could anyone recommend a pair of bike lights for city cycling? I just need to be seen in low light conditions and I have a price range of up to £15 for a pair of front and rear lights. I assume rechargeable batteries would be nice, anyone had experience with them?
Amazon is flooded with either free or discounted bike lights being given in exchange for reviews, which tend to be biased. So it makes it harder for a beginner like me to understand what to look for in bike lights.
