Just spotted on eBay deals, 20% off refurbs on the official Dyson eBay page taking the V6 animal down to £167.99. You only get a 12 month warranty with these, but my previous experience buying a refurb from them was that my unit turned up faulty and I was sent a brand new unit out with full warranty 2 days later.

Got this refurb deal a couple of months ago when posted here a little bit cheaper.
Mine appeared brand new and i'm pretty certain it was. The guarantee when registering came up as 2 years, although the order said one year.
Excellent product, very versatile, and the animal comes with all the extra bits most will ever need. The main issue most without one imagine is the 20 minute battery charge. This has never affected me or the wife and never had it flatten before we've had enough of vacuuming. You get a lot more done, mainly because it's small and light compared to non-hand held ones.
Excellent value at these sorts of prices.

We paid £300. Like it as opposed to love it. Good suction but small capacity to hold dirt. Woudl definitely buy this.
Please stop worrying about warranty. A UK sale by a retailer (new/refurb/repaired) is covered by UK the Consumer Rights Act (and more) which includes provision for goods to be durable. 6 years is the legal period in which durable counts.
Subscribe to Which? (as I do) and add their Legal bit for £85. Like as not, you will save that in a few months as you start battling the retailers who try to deflect you. If you are a landlord, you need their advice available to you and they have helped me through a repossession and disposing of abandoned effects.

Thanks for posting, I ordered the V6 Total Clean last night as I want the fluffy head too and just checked and that's dropped to £209.99 so I called Dyson. They can't refund the difference but I can refuse delivery on the one I ordered last night and I've bought another at the lower cost. If you hadn't posted the deal I wouldn't have bothered to check the price so thank you - saved me another £11.05 - cheers! Heat added
