Cheapest ever price for this decent power supply. Should suffice for most PCs even with SLI and is modular too for nice cable management

Have to say I don't really like that Tier chart: First of all very hard to find anything, secondly, it is fairly arbitrary and I prefer to know who the actual OEM is.
More work, but I prefer to use PSU Review database over at Realhardtechx.com: http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/PSUReviewDatabase.html

I paid £38.52 delivered for the 550W version of this PSU a year and half ago (Scan's Ebay store).
The PSU is very quiet (for a budget model) and has thus far worked flawlessly for me.

The product on the scan site literally says hybrid modular.

Title should read Hybrid modular, good deal none the less, looks to be about £10 off retail, heat added.

It's always refered to as modular or semi modular. It will say fully modular if all the cables are.

I've been using the gold rated version of this psu in a system for well over a year now. Very happy with the performance and very quiet for the price. I believe this is semi-modular like mine (looking at specs this seems to be the case) If so, the atx cable is poorly sleeved and the coloured wires are clearly visible, if you care about that sort of thing. Not a deal breaker though. Heat added

This is only good if you can pick it up. i get it at aroung 56 delivered, if adding something to pass 50 there are other charges added. Better get it on amazon, get better warranty and service, also prime available.

A lot of online reviewers go for the Corsair CX range, like TTL on OC3D.. or the CM range..... or something

More on topic rather than the retailer... I would avoid this PSU and get something better.

Never heard of Scan. Looked them up on companies house and they have more than 200 employees. How is their CS?
