I'm thinking of getting one of these for my son even though my wife reckons he's too young. He will be 18 months at xmas but he is stable on the smart trike we use so I think he'll be fine on one of these.

I've bought one. I'll probably get told off when the wife finds out.
It makes a change to buy something that you don't have to build yourself when it's delivered. When my son was being born I half expected him to be flatpacked cos everything else seems to be these days.
Off to make a cuppa, and to find a hard hat for when I tell my wife that I bought my son the car.

Wow! The car arrived an hour ago, that's one of the fastest deliveries that I have had from an eBay purchase.
The car is as I expected. It's slightly narrower but absolutely fine. I had to attach the steering wheel and a cable to the steering wheel so the controls for the sound affects and music work. I wasn't expecting to have to do that as the eBay description says no assembly required. But it was very easy so not a problem.
If I had to find a negative to say then the only thing would be that it's slightly awkward to change the batteries once you have fitted the steering wheel, but that might just be me.
Conclusion - I'm very happy with the car for the money I paid. My son will absolutely love it. The only problem I have is not giving into temptation to give it to him now instead of at xmas which is why I bought it.
