FYI!!!
I will give a breakdown and how to get it,this is a 12 month contract to i will give yearly figures to keep it simple.
All figures have been rounded up or down to the nearest £1 depending on how i felt at that moment.

https://www.topcashback.co.uk/bt_total_broadband/

Ok my HUK Dealers doing the dealings here is the best broadband + TV + Phone deal i have seen on the market.

Cost
Package = £180 per year Choose Entertainment Plus + Unlimited Infinity 1 which gives 52mb fibre broadband + TV + Sports + AMC

Line rental = £205 per year You must select to pay 12 months line rental upfront on the 2nd page. This will give a 10% discount off the usual line rental

Activation and delivery roughly £60

How to get the Deal and only pay £180 per year.
USE TOPCASHBACK - TCB will give £162.75 cashback on this package

After you have installed TV and broadband you must go to BT website and claim a preloaded £100 mastercard.

Over the 12 month contract you will pay 180+205+60 = £445

From cash back and mastercard you will receive in total £262

445-262 = £183

I've only had BT broadband for 3 months and can say once my contract is up I'll be leaving them.

Took almost 2 months to install my broadband (2 months from when my brand and with Virgin was turned off) and that was constant calling them for an engineer to come fit it. Only after the 5th engineer being book it actually got fitted. Had my contract canceled due to taking too long to install my broadband (??). Because they canceled my contract first time I couldn't claim my cash back or any rewards and on the system it was showing as I'm an existing customer.

If you have any problems you need to speak with someone in India, who when don't now what they're dealing with just hang the phone up on you after it took an hour and a half to get through to them.

After three months of being in a contract with them I noticed my broadband bill had increased. Looking online I noticed they had increased my broadband package, but decided not to send me a letter or an email. So I was suppose to pay £42 for just broadband infinity 2 + line rental now I'm paying £48.

If you can get a better deal with Virgin, I would recommend them.

"claim a preloaded £100 mastercard" means they send you a card which has 100 pounds preloaded, you can spend as a mastercard up to that limit, take it to a cash machine and take out the 100 pounds if you want.

Companies need new subscribers to keep shareholders happy, so just cancel and get your wife/adultchildstilllivingathome/dog to take out the deal.

It's the same with banks, they don't need your money in savings accounts they need it moving round the system, hence why they pay savers nothing and give it to switchers.

Dude if it's that bad after the 1st or 2nd cancelled visit. Just phone your bank and cancel the direct debit and let the ombudsman deal with it.

To put it into perspective. I've hand Virgin media 150mb for over 12 months. The connection is always intermittent, I have complained several times. For 12 months they said there is an issue in my area they are trying to resolve. Basically another word for system overload.

So I'm looking to leave.

I had BT Infinity for 1 year and Im so glad my contract is over.
I signed up for £30 per month initially, during this 12 Months they increased their line rental a few times, also had so many slow downs, and at least 5 occasions of complete drop, where their engineers had to visit (with their usual threat that if fault is found inside home there will be £130 charge).
they recently increased speed from initial 30Mbs to 50 but I can see no real difference really.for the past few months they were charging me £47..thats for basic phone package and the cheapest infinity fibre broadband.
horrible company,with a bullying attitude.
BT never again.

Often the BT Reward Cards are mentioned on TopCashBack in the list of Cashback for each type of broadband/deal. There is no reference to reward cards except for the small print that you have quoted. Therefore I'm not sure TCB is valid with these reward cards.

"The use of a BT Broadband - New Customers promotional/voucher code not posted and approved by TopCashback, may affect your eligibility for cashback."

They are not promoting the reward card so it's certainly not guaranteed.

The small print mentioning the reward cards is clearly always there (as it says 'from time to time') - they have not promoted the reward card with the currently listed cashback deal.

It'll probably be fine but I wouldn't be certain enough to risk it.

I would disagree to me the fact that TCB t&c's mention BT will from time to time offer extra rewards cards. Suggests that they not only know about the the £100 MasterCard offer from BT but accept it.

Otherwise they would have explicitly said they would not pay if you redeem the MasterCard.

Open discussion; I'm not 100% but I'm as sure as I can be.

A good deal if it happens but here is my experience with BT. Ordered BT infinity 2, telephone and TV and had a confirmation date of around 6 weeks. Cancelled my VM with the end date next to the BT install date. A few days later BT emailed me and stated it will be another 6 weeks from the agreed date, so 12 weeks in total to get it fitted. Not good enough so decided to stay with VM who in the meantime offered me a better deal. It took 1 hour and 10 minutes to get through to BT to cancel the order. Rubbish customer service. At least VM answer the phone.(Even though when they answer they are useless).

Signed up to the regular 17mb broadband package last year at a special rate of £8.50p/m. A month or two ago I received an email about a "special offer" as an existing customer: exactly the same package I'm on now, at the "special" price of £15p/m. At the time of this "special offer", BT were running a new customer deal including Unlimited Infinity 1 at £9.99p/m. A not-so-subtle shafting from BT.

Last year I got both £89 topcashback and the £125 Sainsburys voucher and some heavy discounts from BT. Unfortunately no real deals around to compare this year from Sky etc. so have taken another 12 months from 'retention team' @ £10/month for Infinity 1 (they offered 24 months at £15 to begin with). Happy to swap at the end, but BT Homehub 5 and the broadband has been excellent for me.

9 Aug 16 #48
BT fibre has been a bit suspect for me in two houses in different cities. Intermittent, subtle problems with pages not loading etc. And their Home Hub is buggy as heck. I've been with providers that are better... but some worse too!

This is a reasonable deal but BT have an almost endless cycle of "sales", so it's worth waiting to make sure the package you want is one of those on offer.

And for anyone worried about whether you get the BT MasterCard as well as TopCashback: you do. One claim through QuidCo two years ago I only got £100 instead of £140, but TCB last year I got the full £130 (as it was when I joined) as well as my £125 MasterCard. Which goes some way to explaining how their promotions work - cashback plus reward card always adds up to about the same amount, split different ways, so they obviously expect to pay out for both.

nice deal at right time. would go with quidco myself because it clearly says £150+£100 reward.
chrisjackson022
9 Aug 16 1 #51
I got this deal earlier this year - worked as expected. Got Quidco paid after several months (usually takes a while) and the £100 pre paid MasterCard (pure card.com) which you can use as a normal MasterCard. Got the BT you view without sports and movies though so this deal seems better and my internet is not the 52mb I think it was up to 32mb at the time but think existing customers were slowly being upgraded the last time I heard. I've previously been with plus net, virgin and sky. BT have been great but never had an issue with any of the other guys either. Fast internet, never had to use the support. Only thing is if you don't get unlimited internet - the extra non freeview channels use internet connection to stream the channel so would use your download limit up pretty quick I would imagine. Also meant that if your tv is not near your master phone socket/router then you'll need a set of Ethernet power line plugs to carry the Internet through your homes power sockets then into the back of the you view box

I use it quite often & works every time. Did it a year ago with BT & they gave me the extra £29 as TCB where giving £189 cashback at the time & Quidco was £160. It's easy & quick but you must put a claimin within 48 hours (I think) of the cashback tracking. Normally takes a day for them to confirm the extra cashback.

To make a claim go to 'Support' at the top right hand of the website, then click on 'Quidco's Highest Cashback Guarantee'.

I have more experience with Quidco than Topcashback, so I have tried this. I will report back in this thread.

I've taken BT Broadband, Calls and their Starter TV package... I would have expected this to track for 120 in quidco as broadband, calls and TV, but it has only tracked for 115, as broadband and calls. So that's the first worry. The equivalent rate for BB+Calls is much lower at Topcashback, it's only adding TV that gives you the additional cashback. So hopefully Quidco are able to recognise that I have, indeed, got TV in my bundle.
GotBass
9 Aug 16 #59

Tracked at 115, i have put in a claim for it to be bumped up to £162, would you say that is correct?

My Topcashback shows:

New Customer BT Broadband + Calls + TV

The main thing that's concerning me is that Quidco should have tracked initially at 120, not 115, as I took a package including TV.

What nobody seems to factor in to these deals is that you get free wifi using FON when out and about - I currently pay around £18 each month for 5 days of wifi when there is nothing else available and I have to do some business via my laptop.
Signing up with BT would surely mean I can use a good FON signal several days a week rather than restricting myself to 5 per month in order to keep costs down (the usage is at a 'business' premises so having to pay for broadband would be a lot more expensive as well as paying for installation).
If anyone else is in a similar position I'd be interested to know of any other way around this problem, but it looks like having BT at home means unlimited FON usage when 'at work' or away from home.

"We're sorry...

BT TV is not available on your line. However, you can still order your Broadband and Calls package. Please select your package from our Broadband Packages page."

Anyone know what this means and what I should do? I'm assuming that I'm unable to get the free sports and AMC TV package as it's not available in my area... would that be the case?

Also, if I don't want the Entertainment Package but just the free Sports/AMC does that still count as getting the Broadband, Calls & TV £155 cashback on Quidco?

For those who are interested: Quidco have accepted my highest claim cashback request from Tuesday, apparently. From the numbers they're showing me I'm not sure it actually adds up to what I would have got through TCB, looks like it'll probably come in about 130 rather than 155 if their numbers don't change, but I think I'm OK with that - I'll stick with Quidco even if it does come out a little lower, rather than mess myself or anyone else about.

On quidco site it clearly states in terms and conditions...•Cashback users are not eligible for rewards, vouchers or other incentives offered on the retailer site....so you cannot have both quidco cashback and vouchers(£100) on bt site...Or am I wrong? Was going to order myself

You are absolutely right. Last time I've done that deal and nevery got voucher. Month later when I rang them up to check what is the story -got simple reply about top cash back claim.

I have had TCB and prepaid card before in a BT deal a couple of years ago, and believe this deal is still available or very close.

Thanks OP. Not sure why this deal has been expired? I think it is still live.
I have just signed up via Quidco and it tracked at £155 within the hour. Even if the MasterCard £100 doesn't come good then I think it's still a good deal given that you also get for free a BT YouView box.

People need to be realistic....there is a big leap between tracked and paid...all these various deals with vouchers in conjuction with cashback are risky to say the least.Get both and your laughing.
Thermal Rider to mojobojo
12 Aug 16 #100
Indeed be realistic, if I get both then great.
From personal experience Quidco have never let me down in the past (over many years and many purchases) I have therefore grown to trust them.

Go elsewhere. I've moved to Sainsbury's. Avoid SSE

Quidco clearly state cashback + reward so should not be problem i guess

Hi was in process of going for bt. deal(with sky at moment...broadband+phone...ends mid September) and came to part asking about phone line or need new line?Since bt. contract would overlap with sky...do I order another line or will bt just take it over thus I lose the sky phone and broadband a little earlier?Do not want to end up paying for two lines when the sky deal ends?Might be able to select installation date??? Any help appreciated
Thermal Rider to mojobojo
12 Aug 16 #104
No problem, you get to choose your installation date at the end of the sign up process.

I've signed up yesterday and the offer is still live. BT are discounting broadband/Fibre and 50% off TV packages (including BT Sport) until 15th Aug 2016.
I used Top Cashback. £166 is how much they said they'll pay (not too worried if it flops, theres still a good dicount).
A £100 Mastercard can be had. I've gone for Infinity 1 Unlimited (52Mb max upload / 10Mb upload), Total Entertainment TV package (good selection of HD and family channels, none of the premium movie or sports ones. half price at £10 per month). Phone line. Im paying £38.99 for 1 year. It will probably go up by 50-65% after that. I'll see what they do to keep me before the contract ends.

Ordered this evening. Sky and Virgin cancelled.

I'm working it out to be about £17/month plus about £3/month for NowTV Entertainment by buying the vouchers off eBay. So £30/month cheaper than my old set-up.

I kept the standard phone - we don't even have a home phone & I just submitted the number of the 'would be home phone' which sky set up last year. didn't see any cost for it, or wouldn't have touched it. free weekend calls I think.. don't care - we just use mobiles..

yeah - I just switched energy & sainsbury's ( who are British gas) were the best for me too on the comparison websites & Martin Lewis (moneysavingexpert) - but, of course my circumstances may be different to yours.

Ordered. Thanks OP.

Quidco tracking at £155. Quidco offer page specifically mentioned the £100 Mastercard, so hopefully should be able to get both. If not then so be it.

Could anyone answer my question - I was registered with BT and had a broadband for a year till I went to talk talk. Now my talk talk will expire in 2 weeks and I wish to move because TT charge me 35 a month. Question is am I new customer for BT or they will have me as existing customer.?
prash_2k to pitlab1
17 Aug 16 #112
You are a new customer of you have been out of contract for 12months+
Or just put it in ur Mrs name and say she just moved in.

FIY - TCB has altered my cash back to the full amount!

logged into bt. order account and they had cancelled my old order(I paid £205 line rental up front) and they took it upon themselves to place a new order which had different order number, ref number, order date and activation date....thus the quidco will not match ...so no no payout.Going to cancel everything(14 days cooling off etc)....I am fuming

Does anybody know if i add bt privacy which is available free for 12 months void my TCB?
It says new contract 12 month contract applies and hence not sure if it will mess up my cashback chances
