A lot of people post on here that you should support your local butcher and their meat is better quality and value. Last week I was in Tewkesbury walking past a respectable traditional butchers shop who all the locals rave about. There was a wholesale butchers lorry outside and I pointed out to my two boys the whole sides of pig hanging from the roof, when I looked closer I noticed all the boxes of beef were either from Namibia, Brazil or Argentina. So much for supporting local farmers. At least Lidl and Aldi buy British. heat from me
