Thought this was a good price, usually £8.99 and £5.00 for the filter!

Had one of these, the water started tasting awful after a few uses. The carbon filter had crumbled into the water. Then again, I did buy it for 97p as a warehouse deal.

back of the pack does instruct to squirt out first bottle full in order to allow the carbon to be removed. Work perfectly after this

They sell them at tesco 'so same price , you need to change filters after 10gallons , filters cost £1.50 at tesco's too. But I just get Evian best bottled water available.

The purpose of this bottle is to stop the waste associated with bottled water. Do the environment a favour will you!

That's a matter of opinion, I don't like Evian, much prefer Buxton, Highland spring or Harrogate spring lol

I paid 8 quid for one at tesco so this is hot.
They are pretty flimsy mines looking beat up already. Probs not worth 8 but I'd pay this much for another one.

I've gone through a few of these over the years hopeing they would have improved the design/build each time. Of about 5 bottles I've had, every one has leaked. Looking at the recent reviews this is still a problem...

I'm curious as to why you'd still buy or use them if you have had problems and if you feel the design needs improving.
I have used these for a few years now - first the 1l one and then this. I have never had a problem with them.

Yeah this. First couple of squirts are grey colour as the filter activates. Mine's been fine for months.

Also - water only. Don't try squash. It clogs it up.
