It's £105, perfectly fine for anyone pc gaming on a budget. Plus not everyone has a pc that can produce over 60fps.

Think you need to change title to show this is a console gaming monitor. Specs are too low for PC gaming. Good response time but standard refresh @ 60Hz, no Freesync or GSync. As a console monitor I think this is a good price.

60Hz is great for PC gaming i have this exact monitor - have it hooked up to my PC and XBONE - you dont need Freesync or GSync for PC gaming

whats wrong for PC gaming on this thing? You know most people run @ 60hz at 1080 on PC, right?

Bought one of these last week and waiting for a replacement. I suspect the unit I received had been refurbished (very naughty of Amazon if I'm right). Settings are unstable/self switching. Not ideal when your monitor wakes up and it's so bright, it burns holes in your retinas. That and the magenta sheen are a bit off putting. The one setting I've found to have changed (all by itself) is AMA, but that shouldn't cause the colour shift. Hopefully, I've been unlucky and the replacement (by Prime, ordered yesterday at 08:00 and arriving tomorrow!!) will be ok.

How is it viewing angle wise? I have a couple of Asus monitors at the moment and their viewing angles are horrible.

They're really good for PC gaming, don't let the enthusiast gamers put you off. The monitor is a TN rather than IPS, which means it's a little more expensive to run and slightly thicker but produces better colours.

You've got your point on colour re-production the wrong way round. IPS is the superior.
Here's a quote taken from the first paragraph of IPS panel's Wikipedia article:
"It was designed to solve the main limitations of the twisted nematic field effect (TN) matrix LCDs in the late 1980s. These limitations included strong viewing angle dependence and low-quality colour reproduction."

It's not going to be great as it's a TN panel which never have good viewing angles. You'd want IPS but you get a slower response time

Have you tried freesync or gsync?

I Have but before we go down this road you should re-read my comment i said "you dont need" technically true - i never said that Freesync or GSync are bad.
