Thanks, had a spend planned, dithered a bit but glad I waited, £3 isn't much in the grand scheme but £3 better in my pocket than theirs.

The 5% discount only applies to your cumulative purchases of £1500 or less from the day you entered your NUS discount code, so it is only possible to get a maximum total of £75 discount per year until you enter next year's code.

The £75 "cap" is because that is 5% of £1500 but you would never get £75 unless your first purchase is an item greater than or equal to £1500 as it will use up your total available annual discount in one go.

This is simples. Just work out if you'd use up a £60 Amazon credit within 1 year? If yes then this offer is a better return on your £60 than having it sit in any savings account right now.
