Anchor brand, embroidery thread, 8m. Loads of colours left.
First deal and its a bit of a niche one but im sure there are some of you who are interested in this stuff.
Popped into the John Lewis on Oxford street today and saw these were on sale for 10p each instead of the usual 90p each. Good deal in my book, bought 311 of them. LOL. Lady on the till said they are phasing the product out as it doesnt sell well.

Fine for teaching the kids to sew but for quality you need DMC or Madeira silks. Better quality and better colours. But not 10p of course!

Please do, that would really be nice, that practice is been forgotten by the most, especially ladies. It is me now at home that is got that job, including mending socks. My wife is also very demanding

oh and I must add even if you're not a fan of crafts do go in and buy some just to see the till attendants scan them one by one as apparently because they're different colours there's no other way, quite entertaining

Haha the poor woman.
When she was scanning the 311 I bought, I became a local celebrity. Everyone staring, someone even took a photo of the thread mountain on the counter. The reception is also taller than me.
