Found in Hamilton store.
Saw these last week instore for £5. When I was in tonight they were further reduced to £3. Half a dozen left after I purchased 1.
Not more than 3m length is recommended by tv manufacturers. Though you can find expert reviews that it does not make apparent difference but my 5m gave up without any apparent reason

Ive used 15m HDMI cables with no repeaters dozens of times without issue.

This is not correct the HDMI spec is operated and licensed by the HDMI Forum all devices with HDMI must license this technology. The forum includes some TV manufactures however there is nothing about not using 5m cables. There are much longer cables all work fine. http://www.hdmi.org/learningcenter/adopters_terminated.aspx a cheap cable of any length will have problems but even the unbranded 5m+ cables from eBay will work fine. Also for longer distances dual Cat5 with converts can be used.

Have a ten metre from the PC to TV, no probs with 1080p and DTS. Had a cheaper one that would sparkle over 720p. Get decent quality cable.

Do you have a link to the 15m cables you have used? Im after one which i can run from up to downstairs but dont want to lose any quality if i can help it. Ive seen loads on ebay but unsure on whether these will be of a decent quality at that length.
Thanks

Sure. These have always been good for me, apart from the quality of the ends, which tend to fall to bits if there's any pressure on them (like if they're being squashed between tv and wall).

Is it a mini HDMI connection? The picture looks like it's mini, or is that just some generic one you have used?

I didn't put a picture up. It must be a stock photo.
It has the normal male and female connectors. Not a mini.
