I got a £10 Argos Gift Card from £30 in Gift cards + £76 odd merchandise. Was expecting just £5

Do they still allow you to keep the gift card when you return goods? Me and my brother did this a few years back and racked up 100 quid in cards from 10 purchases that we returned. Id have thought they wise to this now tho

That's immoral and potentially illegal as your intentionally stealing gift cards by misusing the promotion..
But yeah probably still works as the gift cards are automatically given

I once took an item back and they deducted the cost of the gift card - I hadn't used it but had mislaid it - think if I could have given them the unused gift card back I would have had a full refund.... probably because of people who have abused the system.
