Not water resistant! We set it up in our back garden and it rained for a little bit. Rain water got in. I think it got in through the zipped parts. There's a reason why it was £10 and now £5. Probably OK for the kids to mess about with in the garden but don't be taking it on a week-long camping trip.

I going hiking in Snowdonia for 2 weeks, did they have much other camping gear to go with this?
Consider this as a play tent for the kids in the back garden and it's a bargain.
If you want a proper tent to keep you dry and comfy then you will be dreaming if you think this will do.

Can you not just spray this with waterproofer, Granger's/Nikwax etc to get a tidy little tent for the money. Some people spend over £4.99 just on the pegs.

I might just buy this for my cheating husband so he can sleep in the garden with his toyboy.
If it leaks all the more better.

Would this be suitable for chucking in the bin upon delivery?

ideal as a kids tent / 'pup tent' for a caravan awning.
