RAM: 1GB, is the limiting factor here, that and windows not being a great tablet OS. 1gb ram even limited mine's use as just a media player.

The 1GB put me off too.

What's the best 2GB tablet deal, under £100, with a bigger screen? It's a shame the HUDL2 is no longer for sale as that even had micro HDMI to plug into your TV.

I am sure there are lots of people pleased with their linx tablets but there are loads of faulty ones for sale on ebay which is a bit worrying. Also on most items, no matter what it is, you can replace the battery if it starts playing up. I was looking at buying a faulty linx which required just a new battery. easy fix I thought until I found that nobody sells a battery for one. I was after a cheap 8'' or 10" tab but I stayed away from the Linx brand in the end. 1gb ram put me off the Tesco one as well. Memory is so cheap it would have probably only put another tenner on the price for 2gb. Looks like they over produced on the 1gb ram chips and then stick them in cheap tablets which people buy. Be better just to throw them all away and charge us a bit more. In order to have a better user experience I would be willing to pay a bit more. In the end I bought a second hand Lenovo Miix 2 with 2gb ram and 64gb drive space. I can recommend the Lenovo Miix 3, the one with the proper full HD screen and not the low resolution one.

my hudl2 is excellent. however takes bloody ages to charge.

I've got a 2 Gb Linx 10 that works fine with the Windows program I need. The program doesn't run on Android so that is irrelevant.

Got this one few months ago for £42 only got because was very cheap
But it runs win 10 surprisingly well its loads better than i expected also has proper usb port
Even works my really old printer, drivers installed ok and use it with multiscan fiat diagnostics
Very pleased with it use it more than my laptop now

Had got one of these when they was available after the batt had gone flat it no longer charges and comes up with error check charge fail.

After going through all the set up process mine is now falling to connect to the Internet and then turned off and is failing to restart. I've contacted tesco to get it sent back.
