The gamepad makes this game very accessible to a 4 year old. I will be getting it at some point for the Wii U.

I was thinking that myself. It should make the whole experience more pleasant and straightforward

You mean playing the game on the GamePad makes it better? Wow. Very innovative of Nintendo 'cause you know, no one else in the industry has made their games accessible through a small TV screen/handheld device before.
Pfft! You're no real Nintendo fan to be saying that!
And it only took four years to be released on a Nintendo system.

Don't bother. This doesnt implement any wii u features well, get cube life instead from the online store for under half the price and double the fun.

Well, even though the 3DS isn't a console it's still fares much better than the Wii U and the Wii isn't dead (curse you Ubisoft!!) yet so it leaves the Wii U as... Nation's seventh favourite console.

Heat! Great present for our son's 4th birthday. He loves playing it on the PC but this will be more accessible on the gamepad.

Calm down. My son understands the Wii U controller and the touchscreen is a nice bonus.
You clearly don't want this game so your vitriol adds nothing to the discussion. Whether or not the platform it's on is worth the premium is up to people who might actually buy it.
