Think these are probably the same as they sell for putting in the bottom of flower vases to hold stems in place and if coloured used as decoration in flower arranging.

Exactly that. I'd been looking all over garden stores for them with no joy, only to happen upon on them in the wedding decor bit of Home Bargains No coloured ones though

I'm going to try soak them with food colouring and hope they colour. I put them in a tub with flashing lights underneath and they looked good like that xx
