Just picked this up at the Harlow branch of Game, no idea how much it cost originally or if it's available nationwide but they had a couple more in stock there and at under quid you musn't grumble.

On Teesside we have a huge range of tourist attractions that Harlow can't compete with. We have the location of Benefits Street 2015, a prison, a sewage works and a a town centre that is literally "buzzing" (well humming in the summer). Only the other day I saw a 12 year old who didn't have children and thought "there goes the area".
Do you remember "Special Reserve" the computer company they were in Harlow I recall, going back some years. It was awesome.

Mrs Loyal has found your contribution a source of great amusement so I was going to ask whereabouts you're from to be so familiar with that manor  blimey can't imagine you'd have been passing there on your travels to smoggy-ville at any point.
Though that said, come on geezer seeing you're from up there you ain't short of a few munters yourself in groovy upmarket manors like Redcar are you?

Hahaha I am actually sat in my mother's ickle flat in Sawbo at the moment, quite literally a stone's throw from where Special Reserve used to be.
Their 'club shop' here must have been the only place in the whole country that used to leave the games and instruction booklets in the cases on the shelves in the Mega Drive and SNES days.
Of course being the upstanding young scallies we were we never ever went in there having a hoist up and selling the merchandise to various video game traders on North Weald Market.......oh no no absolutely not :smirk:
Harlow itself was home to Gem Distribution in those days, in fact I believe they're still up on the same site on the Pinnacles but under a different name now. We knew a couple of people who worked in there and they chored loads of gear out of there but as is always the case they got mega greedy and both ended up getting collared :man: one of them is living in Thailand now I believe whilst the other one hmmmm well I not seen or heard of him for more than 20 years now.
There you go, a brief glimpse of your average Essex youth's exploits a quarter of a century ago
