Despite Waitrose selling in my opinion the best eggs and bacon of any high street shop, their sausages use the finest ingredients but are always horrible and dry with a weird texture!! But they are cheap

They're not that good. Sainsbury's TTD outdoor bred sausaged were the best I've ever had but recently they've changed the recipie and made it gluten free. They're no longer delicious so I tried porky whites again and they were better but not great. Last week I tried Waitrose 1 cumberland sausages and they were pretty decent. Not as good as the ones in sainsbury's used to be but better than Porky Whites. Might have to give M&S a shot.
If you're in the mood for a hot dog, sainsbury's British Hot Dogs found with the sausages, are pretty nice too.

Though Waitroses' sausages were mostly tasty and we liked them, we stopped buying them a while ago when, for some reason skins so tough they could not be chewed were "introduced".:confused:
Has that changed yet? as we have been buying Lidl sausages since - they are quite good for the price I have to admit ;-)
