I agree with you but I do find that the picture quality is better with a lighter coloured cable than a black cable. I think the black must interfere with the colour databits.

Phoned them before I clicked pay, the rest of the order will ship and the back order when in stock so I added that cable anyway for my USB hard drive.

micro usb are usually used for android smartphones, though a few models use USB type C. iPhone & other apple devices use the absolute sham of a cable known as the Lightning -> USB.
