As far as I remember you reserve online then quote the code when you pay in-store, then they apply the discount.

I bought a £10 Fryingpan from Asda and it lasted me better than any Tefal pan I've ever owned

My TEFAL pan has lasted me ten years too. The only thing I would say to anyone buying them is to never have them at the highest heat on the ring for too long - that tends to make the middle convex - like a cheap football beside the hearth. Even so, the non-stick properties is amazing.
These pan sets are hard anodized so are more durable

Good advice, I am a little against Tfal because I worry that lifespan is part of their marketing to keep selling plans . I have found out that there are many different grades of nonstick as one goes up in price that are utterly tough. These types are used in the professional food market. All this red dot business and pretty swirls and embossing are flashy but all one needs is a tough coating , I remember my old one used to go dark overtime and the coatings stopped being nonstick. But as you mentioned I probably overheated it

I wouldn't endorse the saucepans though. I found that the best saucepans are stainless steel (very easy to clean and no flakes of non-stick ever) and make sure the handles are riveted on not welded.End of lecture, lol.

I'm all for old school cooking but stainless steel frying pans are taking things too far. It's been so long but is it really possible to make omelettes and fried eggs without them stickingin a stainless steel frying Pan?
I've remembered what happens to my tefal frying pans, it's not that the surface peels off, it's just the becomes rough and stops being nonstick. I don't have shares in Asda but my nonstick frying pan is almost pristine, the surface isn't hard, it's vulnerable to being scratched but the coating has not darkened and is still completely nonstick that's why I will never buy another tefal frying pan. I've subsequently discovered that as I've mentioned you can buy much harder grades of nonstick coating.
