If you've been waiting for a drop on this, £28.95 right now isn't too bad at all. It's getting mixed reviews but i'm sure some of you are waiting for a drop.
STAR OCEAN: Integrity and Faithlessness is an epic adventure that introduces seamless transitions between gameplay and dynamic cut scenes, adding a new layer of depth and immersion to storytelling in the series. The popular real-time action battle system from previous titles has been overhauled with improved game mechanics and action sequences for a truly uninterrupted in-game narrative.
Set between the events of STAR OCEAN: The Second Story and STAR OCEAN: Till the End of Time, STAR OCEAN: Integrity and Faithlessness takes place centuries after humans have left Earth for the stars. On a planet in the distant Faykreed star system, the swordsman Fidel Camuze and his childhood friend Miki Sauvester set out to protect their village from being swallowed in the tides of civil unrest.

I got it for around this price thanks to a gamecollection discount code, and honestly I'm enjoying it, but I am a die hard star ocean fan I'll play and like anything tri ace throws at me, it's definitely the worst in the series and an average game at best compared to others but what can I say I'm enjoying it, doesn't feel like I'm forcing myself to play it

Have to agree. Why we can't rotate the camera with l1 and r1 is beyond me.... But I too am a die hard fan hah.
With a minor patch it could be much better.
Cut scenes don't pack and real emotion thanks to be able to move around and emote.....
I think this was originally a ps3 game that they just ported to ps4 and ignored the ps3 launch. The frame rate (60) and bad graphics scream that to me.

Completely agree,
Really fun to play but game does feel a bit rushed and like it's lacking certain bits, everything is awesome but just feels like an unfinished project. I still love it though!
Just wish it had more customisation. I am hoping at least it has an arena and if it does not I will cry lol

I've been thinking of renting it.
I don't play JRPGs for the story or characters and I loved the gameplay in the PS3's Star Ocean game (TLH?).

I was going to get this but it got horrible reviews and is supposed to be the worst in the series. So it should drop in price very quickly.

Yes!
The camera not following / auto turning when you turn is really annoying!
Not enough to put me off though. I've loved every single Star Ocean game but this one just needs that bit more oomf unfortunately. I'd still recommend all SO fans to play though (not that I need to tell them this haha)

think the biggest problem is that its feels like a budget title and seems rushed, also for me the biggest problem would be the lack of planets. not played it just seen a friend playing will get it when it drops to £20, its pretty sad that rouge galaxy which is a ps2 game is a better "star ocean" game than this

Sad thing is that this game may be unsuccessful due to the poor reviews (not played it myself so unknown if the reviews are just) but what it does mean is that another star ocean will be quite a way off :/ Such a shame.
JRPGs are so rare to come by due to lack of demand, then they release a lacklustre one and i'm sure they'll just take it as another sign that the genre is becoming less popular which definitely isn't the case.

JRPS might not be as good as they used to be, but we have had more of them this gen than at the same point last gen

given the reviews I would expect this to be under £20 in no time at all. Unless you're desperate to play right now waiting is a much better option.

Definitely feels like an alpha build they polished and sent out, the worst thing is they don't know if they are going to re release SO2 on ps4/vita like they did in Japan last year. But I'll take any star ocean, I think this games saving grace is that it's only suppose to be around 25/30 hours which is just great ^_^

I've been waiting for SO2 on the store for so long, I keep checking, wondering what is going on but nothing!
I was hoping for it before this came out tbh. So disappointed it's not out in the uk yet.
Saving grace 25-30 hours? How lol, that's so short for a game like this! I am about 15 hours so that would mean I am almost finished. Noooo, way too short!
