Yeah it's really annoying, I have the basic game (and quite like it) and would like to add this content but in typical Sony fashion (it happens every time this game goes on sale) they ignore loyal buyers and just focus on new customers, though this game has been around so long there can't be many left....

Probably the most infuriating platinum I ever got. I recommend playing on vita as you are less likely to rage throw it across the room than your controller. Although the cross save does allow you get 3 platinum trophies for one playthrough.

One of the first PSV games I ever bought and I truly hated it. A good way to get 3x Platinum trophies and a whole ton of silvers if you own a PS3 and PS4 too but the game is just ridiculously boring because you can literally just run through every level missing all of the power ups and enemies and just dash to the goal, for the entire main game.
