definitely hot. had previously siemens, been working more then 20 years without repairs then just stopped . and we get the eco boubles , Siemens even that old I like much better.

Great price but I wouldn't buy any product from a manufacturer who has any connection with destroying the Amazon rainforest see #2 shame on you Siemens.

Thanks for that. So according to that Performance section under programme time, it takes roughly 240 mins. Reading the actual manual though I noticed there is a Speed Perfect setting: "Washes in a shorter time but with a washing outcome comparable to that of the programme without selecting the additional speed Perfect programme setting."
Any owners have input on how much time this is reduced by? Again I understand there is a 15 minute wash for small loads but I think jumping from that length of time to a 240 minute wash for a regular soiled medium/large load is way too long (unless of course you have heavily soiled garments to wash thanks to the kids :disappointed: )

I would guess that, just like with every other modern washing machine I've come across, the time quoted is the absolute maximum under extremely unusual conditions which I've never managed to replicate...

I was considering the Samsung, but after checking out the build quality of these machines it far surpasses the Samsungs! Also has less to go wrong considering the amount of bells and whistles samsung models have!

I use the speed perfect most of the time. Cuts a 2 hour cotton wash down to 1 hour 3 mins. It also has a mixed load which only takes 45 mins. I have a similar machine to this and VERY pleased with it.
