:stuck_out_tongue: It's not case of dodging tax, it's more a case of UK getting shafted, so buy elsewhere.
If you want to pay over the odds for a game that can be bought up to 50% cheaper, then go ahead.
You don't have to preach to everyone else about it though, just makes you sound like a d1ck!

When you sign in you need to search for the Saints Metro Pack and it'll show you the price with your gold discount applied. From there you need to add a Brazilian address, international payment card and connect to a Brazilian VPN. If you use your own bank card you may get a call from the fraud squad to confirm the transaction though.

Picked this up, absolute bargain and I've really been enjoying Re-Elected. Don't listen to the moaners, Gat out of Hell is a complete standalone expansion from the main game with its own story and such, so it's literally £2.50 each!

Dunno how you guys are working out the Brazilian/Argentinian prices, but it converts to £25.45 from the Brazil store and £27.07 from Argentina. Remember that the £ is really low right now. Much cheaper to buy from the UK store.

only works if you use revolut to buy ms points then use the points to buy the games. its a lot of messing around but worked for me in the Korea store last month for overwatch.

I just buy Brazil credit here https://www.offgamers.com/buynow/brl30-xbox-live-gift-card-br.html change the xbox.com store to Brazil and voila takes less than 5 min. for everyone that wants it easy. I never tried other methods I have been doing like this since last year never gave me trouble.

The guide is a little lacking imo and i had to take extra steps to get things working reliably for me.
Also ms have never accepted the revolut card for me but that's fine, i just use my Halifax clarity card. any other international purchase card will work just as well.

Yes! In SR3 you max out your perks by halfway through the game which results you being invincible. You may as well just put in a cheat code. SR4 the cars become useless very early on because you can run like The Flash and bound over tall buildings after a few upgrades. It kind of makes the game pointless.

Bought these when they were £6 for each double pack a few months ago, so £10 for both is great value, especially if you've not played them before on older systems.

The way I had to do it was go to that particular regions Gift Card area, buy the gift card amount that covered the game I wanted with a fee free credit card and then redeem the code they give you on your account. Then go to the game page, make sure the region is still marked as the Country you want e.g US or Brazil and then buy it using the credit that's now associated with your account.

if i buy foreign credit and change the region on the webstore do i need to add an addresse or can i just add the code and buy what i want from that region?

Been out of the game(s) for a while and don't have an XBox Live subscription - presumably you need this to get the £10.00 rate? When I sign in to my Xbox account it quotes me £13.20 for the bundle.

but saying that, cracking price for some decent games.

I loved the other SR games but once you unlock powers on SR4 cars become useless! Coupled with all the items you have to collect, its the first SR game i abandoned!

Defo. Think I paid the £15 on launch for Redux and if you haven't played the metro games they are brilliant even at that price. Even if you've played 2033 the Redux version is well worth a play as it improves on it in so many ways. Then when you take into account Saints 4 + All the DLC + Gat out of Hell if you need some games to get on with other the summer this is a great start
How much is Saints + Gat on their own out of curiosity, am tempted to buy it yet again just for the achievements
Edit: Xbox.com actually worked for me for once - £6 is a little less to shout about but not bad either way

Where is the tax dodge? You're purchasing from the foreign store, paying their price, and their tax. Just like if you bought something from China.

I'll be happy if these schemes all stop working, or they start banning people who use them.
You complain when businesses dodge tax, but actively dodge it yourselves. Should be ashamed.

Oh, has it stopped working on all store fronts? I know a couple of issues had arisen on specific ones.
WHAT? At all?
Fortunately the only game I'm interested in is Dragon Age: Inquisition at £12 (bargain). All the other store fronts I checked are slightly higher so it will be a UK purchase, and I have the £7 compensation from Microsoft.
In fairness. At £10 it's a horrendously stupid bargain for these 4 games, we're just super tight

Revolut didn't work the last time I tried but I could use it to buy a Russian ruble voucher! Stick to buying gift cards for Brazil and Russia as they are usually the best places to but from.

Definitely a great deal. I didn't hold high hopes for Saints Row, but with Crackdown being delayed it's not too bad and play similarly...you have the ability to scale large buildings and just have a lot of fun. Story is a bit poor and and you do see some slowdown, but the fun you can have leaping over buildings and running at superspeed, plus all the side activities a tenner isn't bad at all
