Rab VR lite jacket. Available in a few sizes (unfortunately not medium/large for me). Also available in blue and ladies.
I have this jacket in the other colour and find it brilliant. It's a good jacket most of the year round. I wore it in the Lake District in March and never had to remove it because I was too hot or add extra layers because of being too cold. The only downside is that it doesn't have hand pockets.
I'm looking to buy another one but would like it in a large.

The position of the pockets is for when you wear a jacket with a pack - otherwise the hipbelt will cover the pocket and you can't access them. If you just want to wander round town in this then you might feel you're missing out, but if someone's looking at from a technical side then it's a bonus having them up there.

Yeah I agree. Useful when carrying a bag. I wear mine all the time though without a bag and could sometimes do with some hand pockets.
