You are not a moron . And yes, me too. They've started doing vegan range chicken (yay), hopefully vegan sausages soon.

Can you just say a bit more about freezer manual guidelines, I've just spent an hour finding out and reading through my freezer manual. It has guidance for different types of meat, fish, vegetables, ice cream and even cheese but nothing on mycoprotein. Do you think it would be safe for me to buy these?

If you're using a standard -18C freezer I think you just need to make sure you use them before the date on the packet.
If you're using an ice-making compartment you need to be more careful. That's when you need to check your freezer manual.

Quorn tastes like cardboard.. Why would you not just have the real thing? Doesn't make sense .. And it's genetically modified ..

I had these for the first time today. Closest I can describe is tasting like sausage rolls!
I'm a fan tbh, far far healthier than your standard sausages.

No jokes here.. I request that you try and piece of quorn and decide for yourself..

Well for starters Quorn is not "genetically modified", at all. No idea where you got that information from.
Second, do you not realise how stupid you sound when you say you can't figure out why people would want to eat something that didn't require killing an animal?
Third, it does not taste like cardboard. Do you eat cardboard? Given your previous statements, I guess anything is possible. But it tastes like Quorn. Millions eat it every year, for good reasons.

I've read a lot of literature to suggest the cultivation of the protein is akin to genetically modified foods, and Quorn may well be implicated.
People do not have to kill animals to eat meat. All they need to do is to go to A supermarket or butchers and pick up the stuff they need..
Yes, I have tried cardboard by mistake. Although the taste wasn't too bad, the texture wasn't great.
I rest my case.
