I love EDF games, just gung ho bug splatting and giant robot toppling. Nothing wrong with that.

EDF is really fun esp when playing co-op. Its like Dynasty warriors but in a city.. with guns... and giant ants... and massive robots

Gameplay was passable for me but just couldn't get over the graphics - it's uglier than most PS2 titles. Took the plunge and gave it an honest 10-15 hours of play but it just never captivated. Still, something to fill the void for under £20

Really great game. Fun, crazy and over the top, has local splitscreen co-op and online etc The amount of enemies and stuff and destruction all going on screen at once is just overkill so to keep framerate stable this needed to be done and it is also 60fps on PS4 so it's welcome.

A fantastic game and extremely fun, a really great price. I also recommend grabbing the two DLC packs if you enjoy a challenge.

It blew me away on PS2 back in the day, but the sequels never seemed to recapture that over the top amazement. Hoping this ones better than the last few.

I highly recommend this for fantastic arcade action: many enemy variants, huge selection of weapons and chaotically destructible environments. It's cheesy and unpolished, but these are easy to overlooked for the fun to be had, especially with either co-op or online play.

Aye. It gets surprisingly deep on Inferno too. You really have to consider your weapons and strategy well, especially in co-op where the difficulty is ramped up even more.
I still haven't gotten the Gungnir though :disappointed:.
