£3.99, can't really complain, can you? Worth a purchase if you're yet still to try.
Chances are you'll be bored by level 10 anyway. Although it's probably worth it just for The Crucible.

If you get it and don't like it, CEX are offering £3 cash or if there's a game near you should get £4 cash for it

Heat thanks Buzz but can anyone advise what this is like without playstation plus? Hope it's not as limited as sw battlefront;
PS4: PlayStation®Plus is required to join Fireteams and play some online activities, such as Strikes, the Raid, and the Crucible.

strikes are 3 man dungeons.
raid 6 man content
crucible is pvp.
Destiny Story mode was lack listing. But gunplay was solid like halo 3 so it kept me busy. I hit end game and grew bored instantly.
For £4 it could keep ya busy for a while.

When I bought this used previously and then installed it, it automatically upgraded me to the taken king version. Not sure how but might be good for others if they are doing this for everyone.

Decent game, but it has a few issues. 1) The storyline is incoherent, I completed it without actually learning why or what happened. 2) Raids are the only way to get 335 gear (so I'm told, I'm at 319) and basically all the light 335 players are douchbags who won't let you get involved. The Raids are quite complicated and require a 6 man fireteam to complete, so first timers need a team that is a little patient, but by now, everyone is doing speedruns. You have to search external websites for fireteam members as well which is a pain. There is an expansion coming out in Autumn/Winter which will make this deal useful, but personally, after over 30 hours, ultimately getting involved in this game is kinda pointless.

1. Agreed but nonetheless still provides a big campaign to get through.
2a. Yes, raids will reward top gear. Kings fall raid or (like I did) challenge of elders runs.
2b. Not all 335 light levels are douchebags. I'm 335 and use to actively look to help players with lower light levels.
2c. Challenge of elders is 3-man, so you'd only need to find 2 others - it made life a lot easier. Also, no need to search external websites as PS4 communities lists plenty of destiny groups where like-minded players can join and ask for help.
2d. In the original destiny I too gave up after roughly 30 hours and I took a break from it till dec'15 where I picked up Taken King and seriously has had me on for about 6 months with all the content to date.
Don't get me wrong I've had my fair share of douchebaggary too from little kids who end up crying and messing up your raid to me getting booted out of fireteams as they found a player with a higher light level. At the same time I've also found highly experienced players who are happy and patient to shepherd you through raids and other people who are same age, can have a laugh but also just want to advance the game.
I haven't touched the game for about a month now, partly due to mgs v but mostly due to me feeling I've done everything in terms of end game. But, if anyone wants any help, PM me

Raids aren't the only way to get 335 gear, you can get up to 330 from a variety of activities (nightfall, vanguard/crucible/faction/gunsmith rank ups, Heroic strikes) and you can hit max light level through Challenge of Elders and Iron Banner relatively easily.
I don't know where you were looking for raid groups but clearly not the right place, there are sites with dedicated 'sherpas' to help people through the raids for the first time and even recently, I've still seen plenty groups wanting help to get first timers though the raid which this '335 douche' regularly joined to give people a hand. Yes, there are a lot of people wanting experienced groups only particularly this late in the TTK's cycle but it's not unreasonable - taking first timers through the raid takes a good few hours and a lot of patience whereas as an experienced group will get through it quickly.
It's worth pointing out you're basically only getting a demo for your £4 - Bungie locked out most content if you don't have Taken King so you can do the original stories, the low level strikes, the original raid (which few people play these days) but none of the current end game content.
