You're thinking of the LG G4

My Moto E does this. Well, it gets stuck on startup of you've got it plugged in. You just can't power it up while charging.

Well there are so many options to choose from that a lot depends on personal taste. This is a pretty decent phone for the price.

Almost bought this then decided to go for a refurbished LG G4 (bootloop problem phone) for 14.50 after cashback

Good deal, but lack of NFC counts me out on this one.

Agree, NFC should be as standard as Bluetooth in phones, it costs pence to implement at mass production level, and whats even more surprising is Motorola used to be a Google Company so they will have seen Googles roadmap ahead of many other Phone Devs and yet still didn't have the foresight to make sure its in all phones going forward.

Why is NFC such a stumbling block? Ive had it on my phone for years and never used it, my debit card has contactless

There are countless other uses for NFC besides contactless payments when you get into programming your own tags.

You can automate your entire life with NFC with a few cheapo apps and tags which sell for under 50p apiece. I picked up 10 NFC tags from ebay and have programmed them for all sorts of things in combination with Trigger and Tasker e.g. switch wifi on when I get home with a tag on the door, off when I get in the car and switch to 3G with a tag inside the car etc, trigger a pre-set timer with a tag on the washing machine to remind us the wash is done, a tag at my office desk fires off a message to my other half telling her I got in safely after my long commute. a tag at the door presets our boiler to a low setting on Hive when we leave the house, another Hive tag near the bed reduces the heating at night etc etc (I know, how lazy can you get when all it takes is a few taps on the Hive app but that's lazy us!!)
The possibilities are endless.
