Cult classic spooky Children's BBC drama from 1988 and repeated in 1990 was released in movie edited form on DVD in 2000 then deleted and fetched exorbitant prices. It finally got a full episodic release as part of a double pack alongside Little Lord Fauntleroy on a Reader's Digest DVD in 2009 before getting its own proper release in May 2015 at £15.99 along with interviews with the director Colin Cant and main actress Siri Neal.
Moondial is an atmospheric and very intriguing mini-series based on a novella for children by Helen Cresswell, famous for her Lizzie Dripping and The Bagthorpe Saga books. Over the course of six twenty-five minute episodes, the mysteries of the sundial's interaction with the moon, the plight of Tom and Sarah, and the fate of Minty's mother play out.
Great price at £5.99 delivered at HMV or Amazon (if you have Prime) and certainly worth picking up if you have fond memories of it, it has been a long time coming.

You would be correct in that assumption. The sundial is also in the grounds.

Siri Neal went out with Brian Cox - the actor one. She was 20, he was 46. I'm not jealous nor nuffin. I'm not. Ok, I admit it - I've always had a thing for him.
