I get confused with my urges to ever buy from this company. The thought of new clothes from an "OK" brand that will last a season and wallet-friendly, makes me want to order... And then I order 2-3 shirts, all the same size - Always the same - And then they get shipped... Ohhhh I'm sat at work for 1-2 working days and waiting for them to arrive ... Post lad brings parcels up for everyone, "Oh Scott, you have what feels like a clothes parcel. Here you go..." Pens down, rip the bag open and pull my shirts out, all of them individually wrapped in cellophane ... "nice colour... Ohhh that's a nice colour..." I'm there, proud of my purchases. Can't wait to try them on when I get home...
Drive home, shirts on the passenger seat... Pull up to a red light, look down and see my new Tokyo Laundry shirts on the passengers seat, I beam with a smile at the thought of painting the town red in these bad boys...
Get home, skip to my Bedroom and open my wardrobe door to reveal my full length mirror. Pull the shirt out of the cellophane ... Oh, Red one first ... Size Large (always the same)... Look in the mirror... It's a bit snug this one, perhaps I should have gone extra large... It'll be ok though.
Let's try on the next one... Ohhhh Navy Blue, was looking forward to this one most... Slip the Red off and slide the blue bad boy on... "hmmmm ... Hmmmm" ... Check the label, this one is size large too (always the same) ... But this one is a bit baggy... That's ok, a few hot washes and it'll shrink... Ok then, the main event - The white shirt. Navy Blue off, White on... "What THE actual hell... Where does it say slim fit? Let me check the label" ... Checking the label for size, ... Size large again (always the same)... So that's 3 shirts, Same design, same size (always the same) but different colours and I have a Snug fit, a slim fit, and a tent... So I could have spent £35 on one decent polo shirt, or £12 a pop on 3 different coloured ones that are all the same Size/design (always the same) and have none fit in there own different ways...
Moral of the story here - Avoid cheap clothing retailers (Tokyo Laundry in this instance)

I would expect it to stay the same size after a wash and be the size it states in the collar... unless you got a body that changes shape at your will to match the t-shirts.. don't wast your money

^this...Every. Single. Time. Ive given up ordering from them. The clothes are ok (for the price) but the sizes/material/ shape of the polos are just random, then that all changes again when you wash them.
I would avoid

Snap!! Waste of time buying from Tokyo Laundry unless you're into disposable clothing, as after one wash they seem to end up totally different sizes and shapes.

The sort of cheap tat found on market stalls for £1.99. Don't waste your money, the quality of most TL items is shockingly c rap.
