Apparently Lidl are changing their range of wines on Thursday. Lidl has become one of my favourite supermarkets for buying wine. There's always something a bit different in the fine wine section and it's rarely overpriced
As they've done before, there's lots of bottles of half-decent grog in my local store originally priced at £5.99 to £7.49 now scanning through at £3.99.
On the shelves, they're marked as 2 for £10, but are scanning at £3.99 each at my local, so worth a try.
I got:
Medici Riccardi Chianti Montalbano (originally £6.49)
Altos de Tamaron Ribera del Duero Crianza (£5.99)
Agramont Gran Reserva Navarra (£5.99)
End of the line so pot luck in your local.

reminds me of when I was working in a restaurant were one of our Italian wine supplier gave us a bottle of wine for every dozen bottle sold and by providing the cork as proof. The good thing was that it was like for like, so the better the wine sold the better for us as we were getting the exact equivalent. There was wine priced at £40/50 at pure trade cost and with the option to get anything else including Italian food for the same equivalent

I like Kyle Jensons review. Anybody tried it? before I buy a case.

Not tried this - probably has notes of abstraction and improbability?

Now this explains why my local Lidl was moving all the booze around the shelfs last Friday.
