"Perhaps something has gone wrong and your provider is unable to fix it. The most common instance in which this occurs is when you can't receive an acceptable signal where you live. The coverage maps you'll find on providers' websites are guidelines only, since they cannot possibly measure signal strength in your actual house.
The first thing to do if you’re experiencing poor service is to contact your provider by email, phone, or letter. Outline the situation, and state what help you’d like. If your provider cannot or will not help rectify your problem, you can take it further.

O2 have woeful data speeds. Vodafone are expensive. EE are decent...but charge for roaming.
They all have their failings - but Three certainly has its uses...particularly if you travel a lot (and/or live in an urban area where signal/data speeds are excellent)

Contact them and see if they will honour this deal. As you've bought online you should be covered by the distant selling regulation so there might still be time to cancel the contract to and reapply (if they don't honour this deal). I think it's 14 days you have since opening the contract to cancel. But double check your t&cs

Never had a problem with the 3 network only their customer service. When my contract was up I called to notify them I was ending it, I think I was on the phone nearly 40 minutes while he tried to sell me a new contract, an iPad, and another phone i could take on my special customers discount i had accrued for a family member to use. After he had no chance of selling me anything he passed me onto his supervisor, who tried even harder to sell me something than the original guy I spoke to!
I hate dealing with non UK call centres, and 3 have one of the worst I have come across.

I feel like this is just an extension of their “Refer a friend and you both get a £25 voucher" deal. Pity all their prices went up after they switched to 4g “at no extra cost".

Never had a problem with three I'm out of contract right now paying 20 quid a month on rolling basis because they never offered me a better deal. My old deal consists of unlimited Internet 300 minit's and unlmtd text's would people recommend I stay with the deal iv got now or change?

50% off on the AYCE 12m sim is better value than a £50 Amazon voucher, 50% is still showing online too...

Went into the Newport shop and they told me this deal ISN'T available for existing customers wanting to renew/upgrade their sim only contracts, it's only for new customers.
Phoned 333 from my phone and kicked up a fuss and eventually hung up, they added a note to my account telling the store to offer me the voucher when I visited and upgraded.
So much hassle with 3 lately, they're clinching prices like mad.

If you want to keep your old number you have to cancel your old contract, switch the number to PAYG, start a new contract then switch the PAYG number on to new contract.
Source: Just last week did the same thing to get the 50% off the first 6 months deal, the call centre were useless, moaned, got a manager and he was great, all sorted within 7 days (No 30 day cancellation period!), might have been a few days overlap of contract but it was worth it for the convenience.
Feels like a trap to get me to agree to modified T&C's but after getting starched by them on the One/#makeitright fiasco it's not like they seem to offer any protection.

I've just signed up to Three but via Quidco to get £90 Cashback on plans over 4GB. We've gone for the AYCE Data Plan which is half price for 6 months. It's still running and hubby and I are already on Three but I have now moved the kids over and added a phone, pricing up the phone (which they needed anyway) I've got a saving of £40 total vs getting the SIMO deal.

Just also to add, just get a new contract for the £90 cashback if you are out of yours, switch your old number to PAYG and then switch it a week or so later. Worth the over lap for the saving. I did that when I was with EE to get a better phone & £120 cashback.

Hi! I know it is not about this deal but still. Because I missed the first 6 month half price deal, I need to find something else. I already on rolling contract. What if I order a new sim only / 12 month contract, and just cancel my rolling contract, will I be eligible for Quidco's 50 cashback?

You can get up to £99.75 cashback with TopCashback so worth checking out their offers especially if you qualify for more than the £50 on offer here. More info: https://www.topcashback.co.uk/3-mobile/

I am not always unhappy with them. Signal isnt great in some areas but what I get for £25 is not bad. They now charge £33 for the same thing. Don't get why it has gone up £8 more! Crazy!

I suspect the issue 3 had was the potential abuse of the SIMO One Plan unlimited tethering feature where a low percentage of users were hogging a huge percentage of the bandwidth. Unrelated to any personal opinion, the "unlimited tethering" SIMO product was stated as being unsustainable at such a low pricepoint. Regardless of causes, if there is any crazy price rise the customer is always free to walk if the customer deems the rise unacceptable, so full circle to request PAC...

I was in Three last weekend & the sales girl was boasting that 3 had bought out O2 & joined forces - but I have no idea if there's any truth in it, as she desperately tried to sell something else to my friend she didn't need....

It really is a great deal if you're planning to join 3 anytime soon and if your current contract with someone else is ending.
